Masterbatch for Recycled PE/PP Processing

What is this application?

Recycled PE and PP processing often needs review of base color, moisture, melt behavior, filler tolerance and final product requirements. Black, desiccant-defoaming, filler and color masterbatch may be relevant depending on feedstock condition and target appearance. No universal recycled PE/PP compatibility, no published savings percentage and no bubble-removal guarantee is published; moisture, dispersion and coverage must be confirmed per batch through sample testing.

Material compatibility

Base resin
Polymer family and grade are matched to the host resin; specify resin grade when requesting a quote.
Output grade
Output grade is supplier-confirmed per application and colour specification.
Process route
Process compatibility (film, pipe, injection) depends on application; confirm per shipment.
Document set
TDS, COA and MSDS are issued per shipment on request. Indicate the document type in the RFQ message field.

Use cases

Use cases
Use case
Recycled PE film - moisture handling, blackness and processing stability.
Recycled PP injection parts - color coverage and appearance review.
Recycled extrusion products - dispersion, feedstock variation and line conditions.
Cost-sensitive recycled products - filler review and formula trade-off.
Mixed recycled streams - batch-specific testing and RFQ review.

Buyer problems to surface

How is recycled PE/PP variation handled?
Share the resin stream, source consistency, base color, moisture concern and final product so the supplier can review the grade.
When is desiccant-defoaming masterbatch relevant?
It can be discussed for moisture or bubble concerns, but performance depends on the actual material and processing route.
Can filler masterbatch guarantee a cost reduction?
No. Filler impact depends on formula, loading, mechanical requirements and processing; review through samples before scale-up.
Can color coverage be predicted without testing?
Only roughly. Recycled feedstock variation means black or color coverage should be checked on the actual batch.

What masterbatch is used for recycled PE/PP?

Black, desiccant-defoaming, filler and color masterbatch may be reviewed depending on moisture, coverage, cost and final product needs.
